Reverence Capital Partners and GOAL complete Sale-Leaseback with airBaltic and deliver three of six A220-300 Aircraft

Gruenwald, 13th February 2024 – Reverence Capital Partners (RCP) and GOAL German Operating Aircraft Leasing GmbH & Co. KG (GOAL) are pleased to announce the closing of a multiple aircraft sale-leaseback transaction of six (6) new Airbus A220-300 aircraft with airBaltic, a long-time partner of GOAL and the flagship airline of Latvia. The delivery of the first three (3) aircraft has been completed, and the remaining three (3) aircraft are scheduled to be delivered to the airline in the 2nd half of 2024.  RCP and GOAL bring together a wealth of industry knowledge, credit structuring and investing experience, and extensive capital sourcing and asset management capabilities.

RCP served as the anchor investor and co-structurer while GOAL served as the co-investor, co-structurer, arranger, and servicer.

The non-recourse, senior secured debt financing for all six (6) aircraft is covered by ITASCA, a structurer and arranger of credit insurance solutions in commercial aircraft finance. Société Générale acted as the sole lead bank underwriter, fixed rate provider, account bank and facility agent.
