GOAL establishes strategic partnership with another US investor

GOAL, the joint venture between KGAL and Lufthansa, has gained another US investment manager as a strategic partner and has already implemented a first investment. Contracts for the purchase of three ATR aircraft were signed on 21st December 2022 for one of the Investment Manager's funds and the first two ATR72-600s were successfully delivered on 23rd December 2022 and handed over to lessee Maldivian. The national airline of the Maldives will operate the aircraft under a finance lease for 15 years. Another ATR42-600 aircraft with the same lessee will be delivered in January 2023.

Within the framework of a service agreement, GOAL is mandated both for asset sourcing and for the ongoing technical and commercial support of the aircraft investments and acts as a remarketing agent.
