GOAL Delivers Two ATR72-600 Aircraft to Emerald Airlines
GOAL Aircraft Leasing (GOAL) successfully delivered two ATR72-600 aircraft to Emerald Airlines, exclusive operator of the Aer Lingus Regional Network. The first aircraft was delivered on 25th August 2022 with the second aircraft delivered 23rd September 2022. Both aircraft are owned by KGAL APF 4, a fund owned by German institutional investors, which has been initiated by KGAL, a leading independent investment and asset manager with headquarters in Germany. The underlying leases to Emerald Airlines are managed by GOAL Aircraft Leasing.
GOAL is excited to welcome Emerald Airlines as its newest customer. Emerald has successfully commenced commercial operations in February 2022 with an all ATR72-600 fleet and currently operates fourteen ATR72s under the exclusive Aer Lingus Regional franchise.
The ATR72-600 forms the backbone of Emerald Airlines' growing fleet. With improved fuel-efficiency and the lowest Greenhouse Gases of any aircraft in its class, the ATR 72 stands out as an eco-friendly aircraft.
