GOAL aquired a package of five Boeing 737-800 from Air Europa in a Sale and Leaseback transaction.
2016Remarketing of 100th asset (aircraft and engines)
GOAL successfully sold a package of two Bombardier DHC-8 Q400 with lease attached to Falko Regional Aircraft. The aircraft have been operated by Croatia Airlines since its manufacturers delivery to GOAL in 2010.
2014Mandate as execlusive manager for KGAL institutional fund series
GOAL expanded its successful partnership with an exclusive mandate by KGAL to source, manage and remarket their fund aircraft.
2013Aircraft portfolio value exceeds US$ 1.0 bn
GOAL arranged a portfolio sale and lease back of twelve A319 with easyJet and thereby significantly expands their narrow body footprint.

Jochen Baltes joins GOAL as Managing Director
Jochen Baltes joined GOAL in October 2012. With more than 18 years in the aviation industry, Jochen is a true aviation expert. He now brings his strong leasing, technical, procurement and leadership skills to GOAL where he will continue to meet the needs of our airlines, investors and lessor customers in the acquisition, sales and leasing of commercial aircraft.
2012Remarketing of 50th asset
GOAL successfully sold a CFM56 engine to a specialised aircraft support company in the Asia-Pacific region. The engine had earlier been acquired from another leasing company.
2010First part out
GOAL successfully closed its first part-out project. After its regular lease end with AirAsia Berhad, the 737-300 airframe and its related engines were separately sold to different entities in Asia and the Middle East.
2009Acquisition of 50th aircraft
GOAL acquired its 50th aircraft as part of a three aircraft package, an Embraer E195 to be operated by Flybe Limited. GOAL and Flybe both attended the manufacturers delivery at Embraer in São José dos Campos in Brazil.
2008German government project
GOAL received a mandate from Lufthansa Technik AG on behalf of the German Air Force to acquire four Bombardier Global 5000 business jets. During the four-year-project GOAL was responsible for the full management of the aircraft acquisition, financing and delivery process.

Christian Schloemann joins GOAL as Managing Director
Dr. Klaus Wolf entering supervisory board, Christian Schloemann will become his successor.

Besides own investments GOAL has been appointed as exclusive asset manager for KGAL’s aircraft funds.

By completion of a SLB concerning two Boeing 737s from Lufthansa the first transaction could be successfully closed.
