Technical Documentation

It is a matter of common knowledge that besides the technical condition it is the aircraft papers that make the aircraft fly. To handle this business more efficiently, GOAL has developed some capable IT-solutions to improve the technical documentation of your asset and further introduced m/archive, a web-based electronic archiving system developed by Lufthansa Technik, Germany.

Digital Aircraft Documentation

The great complexity of aircraft documents as well as time-consuming search processes make it difficult to get a picture of incorporated modifications, ADs etc. at any point in time. Lufthansa Technik´s end-to-end document and content management solution m/archive, will organize and structure all documents according to the Lessor´s and regulators requirements – back to birth -, chronologically organized by objects such as aircraft or engines, and as well as single events (C- and D - Checks or engine / component shop events). At the same time, easy access to the records is maintained for our valued customers with different access levels and requirements. The solution will meet all authority requirements on a data storage and retrieval system. Maintenance records of original paper documents being created and authorized in the maintenance and shop floor processes are kept in accordance with official regulations. This digital archive constitutes also a valuable backup in the event of paper document losses.

Aircraft Structural Damage Surveillance (ASDS)

Part of our digital aircraft documentation is ASDS, is a web-based application to follow and trace structural damage, dents and repairs within your aircraft fleet. The application is based on a server-hosted database allowing database access via the Internet from any maintenance location in the world. All relevant information including supporting documents are accessible through an easy-to-use screen presentation. A login system allowing user-defined stages of access [read only - input only - full access] offers great operational flexibility.
