Basic Cockpit Training
Through its Pilot School in Bremen, Germany and Phoenix, Arizona, USA Lufthansa Flight Training can provide you by well-founded specialized know-how necessary in basic cockpit training. Thereby the ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) Basic Course forms the core activity. Besides, special courses designed for your individual needs can be offered.
Advanced Cockpit Training/Simulator Training
In order to provide your pilots with regular training advanced cockpit training courses and simulator training will be offered. For example JAA-approved type rating courses for all common aircraft types are available. In addition advanced cockpit skills seminars in order to retrain cockpit crews being the first time in glass cockpit aircraft can be booked by you. 19 full flight simulators in Germany -for all common aircraft - are continually being attended by a total of 86 simulator technicians in shifts around the clock. Therefore cockpit and cabin crews are introduced to and trained for crisis situations such as ditchings, emergency landings or fire on board in the emergency training course. In a state-of-the-art training center at Frankfurt airport most common aircraft types including all relevant rescue equipment as well as experienced training personnel are available. In addition consulting services for the conception of emergency procedures and the elaboration of the corresponding manuals can be offered.
Human Factors Training
The optimal cooperation of several people who are responsible for tasks within a highly complex environment requires regular special training. Therefore the human factors training serves the following purposes: optimizing decision-making, harmonizing teamwork, improving communication and team-orientated management.
